Spider - Monster Type for The Corrupted

When an unwitting victim finds itself in a mass of raw Corruption, that inky black substance has the potential to completely envelope the host. Using the hosts body and brain, the Corruption reaches out and begins to create a network. Thin, incredibly strong strands of Corruption extend out stiffly. They pull themselves along, object to object like a web. Any Corrupted that find themselves in the path, become a part of that network. One straw-like web works its way into the brain of the now connected Corrupted, and provides new information. Anything that crosses the web sends a vibration back to the Spider. The Spider in turn calls out silently through their network to direct all the connected Corrupted to pursue their new quarry.
