I translated the game to Spanish. In the end!
I made some adaptations and clarified the rules as well.
Here it is: https://solohistorias.itch.io/el-ultimo-detective
I added a Twitch video explaining how to play in Spanish. I will polish it and publish it in YT also.
Regards.
Hi, again, I am creating an episodic humour story (as a podcast in Spanish) based on the gameplay we did on Twitch last Christmas 2021. Within that frame, I would like to translate the game into Spanish and make it available to Spanish-speaking community, with some minor modifications, based on my own gameplay experience. There is one aspect, though, that I still did not get clear: the Absolute failures w/o solving the case. What is it? And how to use it? I developed two possible case uses for that, but I am quite confident they are not what you had in mind when you created it. If you unveil my ignorance, I can translate it properly. Otherwise, I will not be able to follow the spirit of your idea so loyally. :-D
Regards.

First off, this is amazing! I'm glad you enjoyed the game enough to want to do this, so thank you!
So, what I mean by that is if the detective is still trying to solve the case, but has had bad rolls (all 1's on the dice), then the consequences begin to appear. Let's say, they're on the first day of the case and they've rolled three 1's. Now the media will release details about the story that the detective wouldn't want out. They're on the next day of the case, and have more bad luck (three more 1's on the dice), now the killer is aware that the detective is looking for them (you can decide what the killer does with this information in the background). If you get to eight absolute failures, and still haven't figured out who the murderer is, then the murderer comes after you. This will likely be the only instance where combat happens in the game, and you would just roll the physical skill and narrate the scenario.
Please let me know if this still doesn't make sense, or if you have any other questions.
Ok. So it is accumulative. I got it now.
How can I contact you to agree with you about how to offer publicly the game? I wouldn’t want to hurt your own policy regarding the game pricing… And I have seen all kind of stuations with this regard at itch.io :-)
Thannk you.

Love the game's concept, the table to generate the killer, and the way that failures are used to move the events forward in an interesting way. A killer concept.
This is a great game, that introduced me to the woderful and simple Caltrop system. I played it on Twitch and we had a lot of fun.
Nevertheless, I had some doubts about the Absolute failures without solving the case. I understood that this is the number of failures to be triggered in order to apply such consequences, but I, as GM, decided myself what was the consequence. And left open the possibility to throw a d8 die when there were too many failures, and according to the roll, one effect or another could be applied, since I didn’t see much worse one than another.
Finally, I didn’t understand at all what the term “w/o solving the case” meant. If you solve the case, then it hasn’t been a failure, isn’t it? So…
But in general, a great game so easy and fun.
Thank you so much for checking it out and giving it a try! I will definitely try to find a way to make that make more sense, so I appreciate the feedback. If you’re willing to share the stream, and have VOD, I’d love to check out the play through. So awesome!

Here you have it. https://www.twitch.tv/solohistorias/v/1247138847?sr=a&t=519s It was two weeks ago and it will stay online for a few more days, but I could maybe adapt it and put it on YT.
thank you! Unfortunately, I don’t know enough Spanish to understand everything, but I definitely appreciate you trying the game out!
